This style of holster goes by many different names: outside the waistband (OWB), on the belt, or simply a belt holster. Whatever you want to call these holsters, I offer a comprehensive line of on the belt holsters in the highest quality leather and exotics. FBS

(FULL BELT SLIDE)
This OWB , or pancake holster, as it is known, was originally developed by holster maker Roy Baker over 60 years ago. A design that has stood the test of time, the spread out belt loops provide a stable platform to carry and draw your weapon. The wings with the belt slots are pre-curved and molded for the gun belt size that the holster is ordered for. This helps the holster to hug in close to the wearer and lessens the chance of printing through a garment. The entire holster is expertly hand molded to the firearm it is ordered for. A generous sight channel is formed to ensure a snag free combat presentation. The leather covers the entire muzzle on this OWB model which ensures the frame and slide are well protected. SDS

(STRAIGHT DROP SCABBARD)
Probably the most popular OWB holster that I make is the SDS. This design was originally developed by Bruce Nelson in 1967 and was called the #1 Professional. My version of this classic holster design positions the gun in a straight vertical orientation. The rear wing with the belt slot pulls the grip of the firearm close to the users side, which in combination with the tunnel loop directly behind the slide, make for a very stable on-the-belt holster. A body guard comes standard on this model but can be deleted if requested. The open top design has a mouth band sewn onto the holster, ensuring problem free one handed re-holstering. The leather is precisely molded to the gun it is ordered for and features a generous channel for the guns front sight. QRH

(QUICK RELEASE HOLSTER)
This is another holster design that was originally developed by Bruce Nelson, which he called the #5 patriot. It was further refined by my good friend Lou Alessi. My offering is for those that need to be able to remove and replace a holster quickly, without having to deal with unthreading a belt, perfect for those that must put on and remove their weapon frequently. The holster attaches to the belt with loops forward and aft of the gun, keeping the holster tight to your side. The gun is offset in the holster towards the front, keeping the back side of the holster flat. This along with the loop system makes the QRH extremely comfortable. The holster is precisly hand molded to the firearm it is ordered for and the generous sight channel enhances a quick, snag free draw. The loops use Pull the Dot® snaps, ensuring they will not come unsnapped unless you want them to. One of my favorite OWB holsters for daily carry. THR

(THE HIGH RIDE)
The THR is a similar style OWB holster to the Full Belt Slide we offer. This model positions the gun higher on the belt, with the firearm sitting in a vertical position. The high ride height and 0° cant angle make this a great option to carry small EDC's on or in front of the hip, with minimal effort to conceal the holster. As with each of the holsters I offer, this holster is detail molded to the specific gun it is ordered for and has a generous sight channel for a snag free combat presentation. (FORWARD DROP SCABBARD)
The FDS is similar to the Straight Drop Scabbard in design and construction, but with a muzzle rear rake. The rear wing with the belt slot pulls the grip of the firearm close to the wearers side. This, in combination with the tunnel loop directly behind the slide, make for a very stable on-the-belt holster. A body guard comes standard on this model, but can be deleted if requested. SCS

(SPEED CROSSDRAW SCABBARD)
The SCS's design is inspired by the Chic Gaylord S-1. This is a radically canted cross-draw holster that attaches to the belt with a sewn tunnel loop. The gun sits fairly low on the belt to facilitate a quick draw of the weapon. A large molded sight channel ensures that the front sight will not snag on the inside of the holster when the gun is presented. The precise hand molding ensures the firearm is secure in the holster during the most active situations. I developed this OWB holster at the request of several US Air Marshall's after 9/11. It is best used when the wearer must be seated for extended periods of time, but need instant access to their weapon.(shown in Mahogany) *Please indicate strong side carry on crossdraw holsters. TJS

(T.J. SPECIAL)
The TJS is similar to the Straight Drop Scabbard in design and construction, but with a muzzle forward rake. It is best worn forward of the hip as either a strong side or cross-draw holster. This holster is also well suited for women. The muzzle forward cant aids in keeping the butt of the gun positioned correctly, which can be an issue with many holster styles that don't take a woman's body shape into account. A body guard comes standard on this model, but can be deleted if requested. The open top design has a mouth band sewn onto the holster, ensuring problem free one handed re-holstering. DJS

(D.J. SCABBARD)
The DJS is inspired by a design that was conceived by Lou Alessi. His models designation was the ACP/S. My version brings the rear snap loop closer to the holster body which in turn, keeps the butt of the gun closer to the users side. The snap loop helps those that want to position one of their trousers sewn on loops between the two holster loops. The wide rear loop design also enhances the comfort of this holster style. A body guard comes standard, but can be deleted if requested. The open top design features a re-enforced mouth-band, ensuring easy one handed re-holstering. The leather is precisely molded to the gun it is ordered for and features a generous channel for the guns front sight. The DJS is offered with either a 0° or 12° muzzle rear rake. SBS

(SPEED BELT SCABBARD)
The SBS is designed to have an extremely quick draw, and yet remain comfortable for extended carry. The holster is lined with cowhide, smooth side inside and out. Between the inner and outer shells of leather, the holster has a thin Kydex insert throughout, keeping the scabbard very rigid, but not making the holster noticeably thicker than an unlined scabbard. There are two loop systems available for this model. The first is a tunnel style loop which helps pull the gun in to the user’s side. The second style loop positions the gun about 3/4" higher and slightly off body. The standard configuration keeps the gun vertical, but can be ordered with a muzzle rear rake. The sight channel is designed to work with suppressor height sights and the holster is cut in such a way to work with slide mounted red dot sights. Gun resistance is adjusted via tension screws.
