OVERVIEW

The SCS is a cross-draw outside-the-waistband holster that was developed at the request of several US Air Marshall's after 9/11. This is a radically canted holster that attaches to the belt with a sewn tunnel loop. The gun sits fairly low on the belt to facilitate a quick draw of the weapon. Best used when the wearer must be seated for extended periods of time, but need instant access to their weapon.

HOLSTER DETAILS

  • • This holster features a radical 30° muzzle forward rake making it ideal for cross-draw carry.

    • Leather is folded over from the rear top of the holster to form a wide tunnel loop that is sewn down to the backside of the holster.

    • A generously sized molded-in sight channel ensures the front sight clears the holster without snagging on the leather.

    •This holster is double-stitched around the firearm with a Union Lockstitch machine.

    • Crafted from 8oz. vegetable-tanned leather made to our specifications by the tannery we have partnered with for over 20 years.

    • Each holster is meticulously hand-molded to precisely fit the firearm it was ordered for.

    • The holster's edges are expertly burnished and dressed with hard wax, avoiding any cheap painted-on edge coatings.

    •The brilliant color is achieved using one of our 4 custom in-house blended dyes. A top coat is then applied and buffed to a brilliant luster.

    • The open muzzle end design facilitates easier removal of debris or foreign matter.

  • • Holster can be made to accommodate a variety of MRDS’.

    • Please Note: This holster is not suitable for firearms with optics that extend into the ejection port area.
